In this competition, 17 renowned schools of Kapurthala District participated. Our GADIANs again made us proud by wresting the second position in The District Level Sahodaya Inter-School Ad Mad Show organized at Anand Public School, Kapurthala. Our students again made us proud with their stupendous performance in District Level Sahodaya Inter- School Poetical Recitation Competition organized at Bawa Lalvani Public School, Kapurthala. Our students, Pardeep Kaur, and Harjot Kaur wrested 1st position in both category 1 and 2. The hallmark of this competition was that poems were self-composed by our students. Our shining stars , Arunpreet Kaur and Harjot Kaur won 1st and 2nd position respectively in District Level Sahodaya Inter- School Punjabi Declamation organized by Guru Amar Dass Public School , Goindwal Road, Kapurthala in which 21 reputed schools of the Kapurthala district participated. . This competition was graced by Sir Chairman, Mr. Jaspal Singh Randhawa , Sir Director, Mr. Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa, Ma’am Principal, Mrs. Sakshi Chopra and chief guest of the Dr. Daljit Singh Khaira, Principal of Bebe Nanaki University College , Mithra. The competition was adjudged by Dr. Bhupinder Kaur , HOD Punjabi, Hindu Kanya College Kapurthala, Mrs. Sandeep Kaur, Assist. Professor Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus, Sultanpur Lodhi and Lecturer Gurpartap Singh ,G.S.S. school, Goindwal . All the listeners and jury members were impressed by the confidence exhibited by the our students as they voiced their opinion in strong and powerful words in neck to neck competition where everyone tried to outshine the other to the best of his / her ability. Continuing their winning streak, Indomitable GADIANS notched Up 1st position in both category 1 and 2 in District Level Sahodaya Maths Modal Making competition held at Prita Lee Lesson Sr. Sec. School, Kapurthala in which 11 schools participated. Our students made working modals on “ The Magic of Geometry ” and “Conic Section & Geometry “. Games and sports are an integral part of a student’s life. A student should study hard to be successful in competitive examinations. But he should also play games and sports to enjoy the health and vigour of life. Our students got 3rd Position in U-14 Kho Kho tournament organized by Punjab Sports Department of Kapurthala that is the paragon of the ideology of our school. WINNERS OF DISTRICT LEVEL U -14 ATHLETICS

The District Level U-14 Athletics Competition was organized by Punjab Sports Department of Kapurthala on October 09,10,11 in Guru Nanak Stadium Kapurthala. In the Track events our brilliant student Simranpret Kaur won silver medal and in relay race Ashpreet Kaur, Navpreet Kaur, Biponpreet Kaur , Simranpreet Kaur bagged Gold medal. On the other hand , in Field events , Simranpreet Kaur won gold medal in Long Jump and High Jump whereas Bronze medal was notched up by Avneet Kaur. Sir Director, Mr. Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa and Ma’am Principal, Mrs. Sakshi Chopra congratulated the students and their Sports Teacher Mr. Gurjot Singh and wished them for the bright future.

Having the taste of excellence, the students of G.A.D Public School, Ucha Bet bagged 1st position in Sahodaya Inter- School Science Model Making Competition organized at G.A.D Public School, Ucha Bet.
Theme : Transportation and Communication was the theme of our students. Students made working model which was the acquisitive example of the scientific – skill of our students. The Competition was adjudged by Sir Director, Mr. Jatinderpal Singh

Besides self – made model, students gave presentation to the judges. The Judges witnessed the tough Competition among the participants. But with their tough grind the students of G.A.D school bagged 1st Position. The winners were awarded with certificate by the judges of the competition.

WINNERS OF SAHODAYA ENGLISH EXTEMPORE COMPETITION

To conquer with determination and hard work has become the habit of GADIANS. Our students bagged second position in the Sahodaya inter- school Extempore competition organized as Army Public School in which 9 reputed school of Kapurthala district participated. For the competition topics were given to the students just before the beginning of the competition so that they can recollect the ideas and thoughts of what to speak. From our school Akashdeep Singh spoke on the topic, “Silence is not always golden.” He spoke on the topic giving the example of present era where silence of many people had resultant the corruption, social issues prevailing in our society. With his brilliant efforts and oratorical skills, Akashdeep Singh notched up 2nd position.

Our brilliant students made us proud with their stunning performance in the District Level Inter – School “Ad Mad Show” competition organized at M.G.N Public School Kapurthala in which 12 reputed school of Kapurthala District participated. Students were given 30 minutes to prepare their Advertisement. Our students performed it very confidently. It was the blend of humorous and conceptual Ad presentation. As a result, our students got 3rd position in this competition.

SAHODAYA WASTE OUT OF MATERIAL COMPETITION
SAHODAYA INTER SCHOOL ENGLISH PLAY COMPETITION
Sahodaya Inter-school 'One act English Play' was organized at Sainik School Kapurthala on 24-10-2017 in which 9 reputed schools of the district participated. "The mother's love" was the theme of our school. In this play our students showed the bond of mother and son's love althrough her son is vicious and astrcious towards his mother after the death of her father yet she (mother) wanted to see her son happy. After few years, her son fell ill and was on his last legs. To survive, he needed a heart for transplanation. As every mother does, she gave her own heart to see him alive. Thus showing unconditional love of mother towards her son, our school bagged 2nd Prize in this competition. Not only this , our brilliant students Manpreet Kaur XI Science got Best Actress award.
SAHODAYA SCIENCE MODEL MAKING COMPETITION
NATIONAL LEVEL TAE KWANDO COMPETITIONS
Open Tae Kwando competitions were organized at Himachal Pradesh on National Level. These competitions were conducted among the students of Northern zone. Students from different states Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, UP, Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir participated. There were total 250 students. Students of our school also participated in which Bhanwanpreet Singh, Karanvir Singh (VII class) grabbed the gold medal whereas Rajanvir Singh grabbed the silver Medal on this great on National Level Achievement Ma’am Principal and Sir Director felicitated the students and encouraged the students to excel in different fields.
SAHODAYA ENGLISH POEM RECITATION
To develop senisibility towards rhythm, phonetic awareness, memorization skills and self expression, Inter school Poem Recitation competition was organised at SPPS Convent School Begowal in which two students of our school Manpreet Kaur +1, Pardeep Kaur IX participated. This competition was divided in two category :2 Juniors. Manpreet recited the poem on theme 'I am the people the mob'. She created awareness among the youth about the sacrifices done by our ancestors to give safe future and life to new generation but now a days we are forgetting everythig. She gave a call to everyone to remind the sacrifices of different people behind our today's easy and safe life. She showed great rhythm and pronunciation while reciting the poem and bagged the I position.
GURBANI KANTH AND KIRTAN MUKABLA
Sri Sukhmani sewa society organised a series on competitions at Fateyabad. There were total 21 teams who participated in this series of competitions. Students of our school recited the Dharmik Shabad 'Man Jaapo Ram Gopal' and showed great and fantastic musical skills that enthralled the judges our students grabbed the III position. Students who represented the school were Rawinderjit Singh IX, Harman Bajwa X, Babaldeep Kaur XI. In Gurbani Kanth Pawandeep Kaur +2 bagged the I position. Her clarity of voice and deep knowledge in sikh religion made him able to win the title of Gurbani Kanth. Students were awarded the shields and cash prize of 500. Ma'am Principal congratulated the students and music teacher Mr. Surjit Singh Sidhu.
SAHODAYA RANGOLI AND POSTER MAKING
Sahodaya Inter School Rangoli and Poster Making competition was organised at Army Public school renowned 15 schools of the city participated in this competition. Our students made Rangoli on communal harmony and participated in glorified event. Students used holi colours, rangoli colours and other waste material to decorate the Rangoli students of our school got II position. Students were awarded with shields and certificates. Ma'am Principal feliciated the students and appreciated the efforts done by teacher. Mr. Sukhdeep Singh Sandhu (Art Teacher) Ma'am Principal stated that this kind of competitions gave the showcase to hidden skills of the students.
