Sub- Activity: My Mother-The Master Chef
Our school conducted Collaborative Activity Project 5: Food We Eat under the umbrella of the British Council (ISA). Students of Grade VII to Grade IX participated in the aforesaid project. They gathered relevant information about major crops produced in India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Under the supervision of their Social Science Teacher, they located listed crops on their country map, gave oral presentations, made menu cards and recipe, made pie charts to display nutritional values, wrote slogans, and made posters to ensure good health and a balanced diet of the students. This project reached to its culmination with the most awaited activity i.e. My Mother-The Master Chef activity. The students and their mothers participate in this activity with great zeal and gusto and made delicious dishes of the countries under study. Maam Principal,Mrs. Sakshi Chopra hailed the students and the activity incharge,Ms. Manpreet Kaur for their efforts and awarded them with e-certificates.

Sub- Activity: Slogan and Poster Making Activity

Research has shown that students are able to learn better when they’re well-nourished, and eating healthy meals has been linked to higher grades, better memory and alertness, and faster information processing.
Keeping in mind the motto, “Slogan and Poster Making Activity” was conducted to ensure good health and a balanced diet of the students. The young learners displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters. It was a great opportunity to watch these young minds creating and displaying their ideas on paper. The students thoroughly enjoyed the activity.

online quiz to commemorate the 300th Shaheedi Purab of Bhai Taru Singh Ji
Guru Nanak Multiversity & Educate Punjab Project(Prerna) conducted an online quiz to commemorate the 300th Shaheedi Purab of Bhai Taru Singh Ji. The competition was divided into 4 groups such as A, B, C, D according to the level of the students. 238 students from Grade I to XII participated in this quiz and all the students got certificates of participation. Maam Principal, Mrs. Sakshi Chopra congratulated the students and said that participating in the quizzes based on the biography of martyrs of Sikh Religion will help students knowing and reigniting the spirit of faith and unite them with their roots i.e. unwavering faith in Sikhism.

Food is something that provides nutrients. Nutrients are substances that provide energy for activity, growth, and all functions of the body such as breathing, digesting food and it also provides materials for the growth and repair of the body, and for keeping the immune system healthy. To make the students aware of nutritional values found in the various dishes made of common crops found in India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh under the British Council Activity (ISA), Project 5. In the activity, the students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. It was a sheer delight to watch the artistic skills of the students displayed through their blend of exceptional creativity and imagination.

  Sub- Activity: 5.3 Menu Card and Recipe Making Activity

   
   
   

Our school organized "Menu Card and Recipe Making Activity" for the British Council (ISA) Project 5: Food We Eat aiming at the "Sustainable Goal of Good Health and Well Being". In this activity, the zealous students of Grade VII to IX researched the common crops produced in the countries understudy and made Menu cards and Recipes of various dishes with the dint of their creativity.

In this activity, all the students participated with great fervour and enthusiasm. Under the supervision of their Social Science Teacher, they located listed crops on their country map. In this activity, Students came to know the major corps produced in the different states of India and the countries under study.
