BHOG OF SEHEJ PATH

 

Our students visited Gurudwara Sri Ber Sahib, Sultanpur Lodhi on the eve of "Bhog of Sehej Path" commemorating the 550 Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Our students bathed in "Holy Sarovar", and enjoyed soulful renditions of the hymns and path that symbolize the purification of body and soul respectively. Our students were honoured with certificates and plaques by Sukhmani Sahib Sewa Society, Amritsar. Our students had Prashad and delicious langer.

TRIP TO HARDY'S WORLD LUDHIANA

 


 

 

Field trips serve vital functions as far as education is concerned. Field trips not only link the classroom experience with the outside world and improve learning, but also give both the learner and educator valued practical experience.
Our students along with the teachers went to Hardy's World Ludhiana. It was, in fact, a rapturous trip for the students. All the students enjoyed a lot and had fun. Students enjoyed in water park, kiddies pool, speed slide, wave pool, Family slide, Body slide, Multi-activity pool and many more. Students also rode on Pendulum, Roller Coaster, Sun n Moon, caterpillar . They squealed with delight and displayed immense courage by part taking in all these rides. Students had delicious lunch and the fun and excitement came to an end at 3:30 pm and it was time for both the students and teachers to start the journey back to school. The students boarded the bus and carried with them treasures of the beautiful memories for a long road ahead.

 

SPECIAL TOUR FOR THE TEACHERS TO RAJGARH, HIMACHAL PRADESH

GAD Group of schools organized special tour for the teachers to Rajgarh, Himachal Pradesh at the expense of Institution under the guidance of Sir Director , Mr. Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa , Mrs. Sakshi Chopra, Principal of Guru Amar Dass Public School and Mrs. Manisha Sood , Principal of Guru Amar Dass Adarsh Institution . 30 teachers those worked inexhaustibly since they joined this reputed institution were the part of this tour. The prime motive of organizing this tour was to promote motivation, collaboration and communication among the faculty.
After reaching “Camp peach valley Rajgarh, Himachal Pradesh", all the teachers including Sir Director and Ma’am Principal had their breakfast and went for Rappelling, Net Climbing, Flying Fox, Trekking, Burma Bridge, Rope Obstacles and many more adventurous activities. Everyone was enjoying and cherishing the altogether new experience. Sir director, Ma’am Principal and all the teachers played many games that were the amalgamation of traditional and modern games. Everyone was in seventh heaven and on the edge of their seat while playing the games. In the evening after having dinner, all accumulated near the bonfire and were champing at the bit to dance. Both Sir Director and Ma’am Principal thanked everyone for working tirelessly and contributing to the success story of the Institution. All the teachers promised them to work hard in future also and make the school the Best School in the district and Punjab as well. All came back with endless, remarkable and indelible memories to be relished for forever.

GRADE XII VISITED GURUDWARA BAULI SAHIB

       

As it is custom of our school, Our students of Grade XII visited Gurudwara Bauli Sahib, Goindwal to seek the blessing of God for their PT 1 Examination under the supervision of Ma'am Principal, Mrs. Sakshi Chopra, and their class incharges. Students humbly bowed to the Guru Granth Sahib and offered prayer. Students enjoyed restorative Kirtan. Students took the "Prasad" and had scrumptious "Langar" in the Gurudwara. Students enjoyed their visit and were encouraged to cultivate a courageous and righteous trait in their personalities.


     
     
     


Adventure Camp to Shimla




 

     

     

     

   


The Students of class XII of GURU AMAR DASS PUBLIC SCHOOL were given an opportunity to commence their summer vacations in the best way possible by organizing adventure and pleasure trip to Shimla from 14 June to 16 June 2017. This camp gave the students an opulent opportunity to be in nature's lap, in the serene arms of tranquility, far away from the hustle and bustle and baffling city lights. The trip catered to indulge in daring and thrilling adventurous activities like Rock Climbing, rappelling, Burma Bridge, Commando Rope Walk, Valley Crossing and zip lining. Trekking allowed them to explore the grandeur adn depth of nuture and get acquainted with the expuisite variety of flora and fauna of the mountains. The Students put up in cottages and tents, experiencing the wild, majestic from of nature. Bonfire was also organized which was feisty treat for the students.
A great learning procedure for students, this adventure camp was a combination of fun filled games and life skills activities which made learning experience richer, joyful and rewarding leaving kids wanting for more. Students were apprised about working together as teams, setting goals, taking challenges, motivating each other which are important to bring out the leadership abilities of a kid. The students and teachers also ventured into the lively markets of Shimla on the Mall road. All of them returned with a lot of cherished memories and good times in thier hearts. These trips not only gave the students a chance to start afresh but also, proved to be a great stress buster. All students thank principal ma'am and the management for organizing an exquisite trip for twelfth graders.
