Our school had been organizing In-house activity, Project -1 "Save Earth" for the British council(ISA) since the first week of August. Under
the aforesaid project, students garnered the information about the unique features of the earth, contemporary environmental issues such as global warming, depleting resources, pollution, land degradation in India, Japan, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines and framed a report on it. Students performed Nukkad Natak, made posters, wrote catchy slogans, and planted trees to convey the message of saving our mother Earth providing a greener environment to our future generations. To assess the knowledge of the students,e-quiz was conducted via Zoom Meeting App. The students from Grade I to III participated in this activity with great enthusiasm. The students were divided into four teams and each team was represented by 6 students whereas the rest of the students joined as the audience in this informative quiz. "If you know and have opportunity to live for only one day, then the blessed act to do is to plant a tree."
Our school organized "Tree Planation Activity" under the umbrella of the British Council(ISA). The students from Grade I to Grade III participated in this activity. The prime motive of conducting this activity was to sensitize students towards the need to preserve our environment and ecology because the whole world is facing the problem of global warming and to recover from such a problem, the act of planting the trees has become one of the most important aspects today. So, each and everyone must be aware of the importance of tree plantation and also motivate and encourage others to plant more trees. It is not just the present generation but also the future generation that will enjoy the benefits of having trees around.
