Kindergarten graduation is an exciting milestone for pre-primary children as it’s their first step towards a future full of hopes and possibilities. It marks a new beginning that adds new dimensions to their school life and the journey they begin towards knowledge and education.
Kids Paradise Block of Guru Amar Dass Public School celebrated the graduation ceremony to honour UKG students on 5th March 2022.
Honourable Sir Director Mr. Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa and Ma'am principal Mrs. Sakshi Chopra honoured the UKG students with degrees and gave their warm wishes and blessings. Students exhibited their talent through shabad, welcome song, mesmerizing dance performances followed by heart touching expressions by students for their beloved teachers.The day reached to its culmination with cake cutting ceremony followed by handling of the charge of UKG kids to the Primary wing vice-principal, Co-coordinator and teachers along with a sapling. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for not only the little ones but also a proud moment for their parents.
YELLOW DAY CELEBRATION 2022
Yellow Day Celebration on the occasion of Basant Panchmi at Kids Paradise
The pandemic can't stop our little ones enjoying the various celebrations through Virtual classes. Our little gadians of kids Paradise celebrated “Virtual Yellow Color Day" on the occasion of "Basant Panchmi". Our tiny tots looked adorable in yellow dresses .They decorated their tables and background with Yellow Colour objects and enjoyed singing the rhyme and spoke few lines on their favorite toys or objects. The color of wisdom and intellectual energy had positive vibes in our tender tots. The aim behind this celebration is to bring awareness among the children about the importance of the festival and reinforce the effects of Yellow Color . Our children enjoyed it a lot and made the learning event active and sporty.
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 2022
“A country is strengthened by its citizens, and citizens are strengthened by its constitution.”
Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26th January to honour the constitution and Republic of our country. Celebration of this occasion annually helps youth and children of our country to be aware of the significance of the Indian constitution, unity and integrity of our nation. To keep up with the tradition of our School of inculcating patriotic fervour, GADPS KIDS PARADISE organized special assembly for grade Nursery to 1st . Students were participated and presented motivational speech, beautiful thought, role play of the National symbols and spectacular dance performances. The celebrations were a true exhibition of the love we Indians have for this Supreme Nation. HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY 2022!

A day marking the childhood was celebrated with fun and frolic at GADPS. The educators of "Kids Paradise" conducted a special school assembly by stepping into the shoes of their students. It all began with a role-play activity followed by the melodious song, thought-provoking activity, and mesmerizing dance performance. Though teachers enjoyed recreating some mesmerizing moments, at the same time, they also missed the students. They prayed to the Almighty to end this difficult phase of life and keep everyone healthy and happy.

THUMB PRINTING ACTIVITY

To make our students constantly engaged in their learning despite the outbreak of COVID-19, The Kids Paradise organized "Thumb Printing Activity".The tiny tots splattered their hands in different colours. It was done under the watchful eyes of their parents and teachers who guided their students online through various ways of communication. All the educators were amazed and delighted, and admired their priceless pieces of art. Through this activity, our students learnt colour recognition, eye-hand coordination, and above all the wonderful art of thumb printing.
RED COLOUR DAY
"Nature itself has many colours, which makes the world look beautiful.
Colours are indeed the smiles of nature.
With the same objective, The Kids Paradise of our school online celebrated “Red Colour Day” to introduce children into the mesmerizing realm of colours. The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits.The shades of red made our tiny tots feel bright, lively, and cheerful.
It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy and happiness.

LEMONADE MAKING ACTIVITY
"With the summer heat soaring, everybody needs a refreshing drink or two. So, Our school conducted online the Lemonade Making Activity. Our students were very excited and actively involved in the activity. They poured water in the fresh squeezed lemon juice and added sugar and a little salt and after that enjoyed the yummy lemonade.
FRUIT SALAD MAKING ACTIVITY

To inculcate the habit of eating healthy food and to help our students to understand the importance of Fruits as an integral part of our food, our school organized online "Fruit Salad Making Activity".The students thoroughly enjoyed this activity creating a colorful fruity delight and learned its importance too.
Inter-Class Competitions in Kids Paradise 2020
SHOW & TELL
Show and Tell Competition was held for our nursery class students on 06 Februrary 2020. It was an Inter class competition. In this competition every student came with an object which was described innovatively and creatively. Students were very excited and participated whole-heartedly in this competition.Show and Tell Competition helped the students to gain confidence and improve their vocabulary and skills of public speaking. Everybody present in the audience was impressed and appreciated their efforts.
SPELL BEE COMPETITION
To help the students to learn to spell quickly, accurately and with comprehension,School organized the Spell Bee Competition in school premises for the L.K.G. studenta.The objective of organizing such competition is to expand the vocabulary and communication skills of the students.
STORY TELLING COMPETITION
The Story Telling Competition was organized for the grade U.K.G. of Kids Paradise.The students participated with their tremendous efforts to make this event a successful one. The stories that they narrated were moral based and these young story tellers used a variety of props to make their stories interesting and expressive. Each story concluded with a moral highlighting the different values of life.
Winners were awarded with certificates by Sir Director, Mr. Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa,and Ma’am Principal, Mrs. Sakshi Chopra.
Basant Panchmi & Yellow Color Day 2020
To commemorate the day, our school organized a special assembly in our school premises. The assembly comprised Thought, Word, Speech, poems, and video highlighting the significance of the day. The tiny tots of Kids Paradise were dressed in yellow colour attires signifying the brilliance of nature and the vibrancy of life. They mesmerized everyone with the " Bhangra performances". Hence, it is considered as the best day for students to worship and seek blessings of goddess Saraswati. The celebrations ended with the National Anthem.
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
"Let us take a pledge at this Republic Day, One Nation, One Vision, and One Identity."
The Republic Day was celebrated in "Kids Paradise" with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The day was graced by the Sir Director,Mr. Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa. To make the day special, Flag Making and Role Play activity were organized in the classes. Teachers of Kids Paradise also made The National Flag badges for the students. Our tiny tots were dressed in tri-coloured attires to mark the occasion. Sir Director, Mr. Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa appreciated the efforts of the students and made them aware of the significance of The Republic Day.
LOHRI CELEBRATION
The festival of Lohri has a great significance as it marks the harvesting season in Punjab and the end of the winter season. Keeping in mind the same view, our school celebrated Lohri in school premises. The celebrations began with the floral welcome of Sir Director, Mr. Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa and Ma’am Principal, Mrs. Sakshi Chopra followed by the
thought, word of the day. The students sang songs “Kudiyan Di Lohri” that infused a new spirit embodying the spirit of celebrating the girl child birth.The Students also recited poems and teachers delivered speeches highlighting the importance of the festival of Lohri which ushers in the cheerful spring season bidding adieu to the bone-chilling winter. Students gave scintillating dance performances. The ice on the cake was the surprise dance performance of the teachers that mesmerized everyonepresent there. The tiny tots of ‘Kids Paradise’ sang the song “Dulla Bhatti Wala”.
Sir Director, Ma’am Principal and teachers lit the holy bonfire and everyone absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. Everyone immersed in rich cultural folklore of Punjab by singing, dancing on the tune of “Dhol”. Both Sir Director and Ma’am Principal greeted everyone and apprised the students about the importance of the festival. The celebration ended with the distribution of cookies and groundnuts among everyone.
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
Keeping in view the secular ethos of the school, the Christmas celebrations took place in the school premises. The celebrations began with the prayer, thought and word of the day. As christmas brings cheer and love, to spread the same message, students narrated poems and gave electrify dance performances. Our tiny tots also performed dance on
rhythmic tunes of the song "Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way! ".
Even the Santa danced on the exciting tunes and distributed candies, goodies and gifts among the staff and students . On this occasion, Ma'am Principal,Mrs. Sakshi Chopra greeted everyone and said that Christmas promotes Humanity, Brotherhood, love, Peace among everyone.
GRANDPARENTS DAY CELEBRATION
Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do. Grandparents sort of sprinkle stardust over the lives of little children- ‘A salute to our Roots'."
Our school celebrated Grandparents’ Day projecting the theme “Baghban-love for Grandparents” with an abundance of respect and admiration. The celebration was graced by the Ma’am President, Mrs. Baljit Kaur Randhawa, Sir Director, Mr. Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa, Vice – President Ma’am, Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur Randhawa, Ma’am Principal, Mrs. Sakshi Chopra, and Mrs. Rajinder Kaur, Principal of Guru Amar Dass Sen. Sec. School. The day began with the auspicious ‘Lightning of the Lamp’ followed by the Shabad and Welcome song by the tiny tots of Kids Paradise. Many power-packed dance performances by students left the spectators spellbound and thoroughly mesmerized. The icing on the cake was the Fun Games such as Fill the basket, Make the Balance, Funny Bunny, Fish Race, Crossing through Hoopla Ring, Ballon Blast, Delicious Jalebi, Coin race, Collect The Cones, Pastry Board and Roller, Sack race and many more especially organized for the active participation of respected Grandparents of the students.
The students were very excited to see their Granddad or Grandmom participating in the games and cheered them wholeheartedly. The students presented a play based on the theme "Respect Your Grandparents” The Grandparents shared some mesmerizing moments and relived their childhood with their grandchildren. While addressing the grandparents, Ma’am Principal, Mrs. Sakshi Chopra thanked them for their presence and for their continuous support and guidance to their grandchildren. She further underlined the importance of the day. The celebrations ended with scintillating Gidha and Bhangra performances by the students followed by the National Anthem.
JANAMASHTMI CELEBRATION
Janamashtmi, the birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great pomp and festivity by the tiny tots of Kids Paradise. Students were dressed as Radha Krishna. They gave a traditional touch to the entire celebration. Celebration started with the prayer followed by breaking the Makti by Lord Krishna. Students of Nursery and LKG ware colorful attire and played the role Krishna and Radha. There was also a Fancy Dress Competition where the participants were dressed beautifully. Our honorable Jury members adjudged the participants announced Best Beautiful Radha and Cute Krishna and also honored them with sashes. After this a lovely play was performed on Krishna and Sudhama. Our UKG Kids described the Janamashtmi celebration through their conversation. After the conversation teachers asked some questions from students and students gave great response. Then UKG students gave a dance performance. Eminent Ma’am Principal Mrs. Sakshi Chopra and Ma’am Principal Mrs. Rajinder Kaur addressed the students and teachers and gave them wishes on Janamashtmi. Ma’am Mrs. Rajinder Kaur appreciated their performances by tiny tots.
INDEPENDENCE DAY AND RAKHSHA BHANDAN CELEBRATION
‘The GADIANS family celebrate 73rd Independence Day with all passion and zealous on August 14, 2019. A special assembly was organized to celebrate this special day. The students of Kindergarten and primary wing enthusiastically took part in various activities depicting the sacrifice of our freedom fighters. First of all the light was thrown on the importance and history of this festival. Then speech was delivered by the student of grade U.K.G. After that a PowerPoint Presentation based on the history of Independence Day was shown to the students. Students’ response was remarkable. Students of grade U.K.G. presented beautiful group song. A fancy Dress Competition was also organized for the students of LKG, UKG, 1st , 2nd , and 3rd Students were dressed in beautiful costumes depicting the roll of freedom fighters and famous personalities like Subhash Chadra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Bhagat Singh, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Kalpana Chawla, Kiran Bedi, Mother Teresa, Narindera Modi, Marry Com, Swami Vivekananda, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Sania Mirza etc. All the participants come on the stage turn by turn and spoke few lines about their characters. Teachers were also dressed in tricolor dresses. Respected Ma’am Principal Mrs. Sakshi Chopra also appreciated the participants for their performances.
RAKHI MAKING AND CARD MAKING ACTIVITY

Raksha Bandhan is the festival which celebrates the eternal love between brothers and sisters. On this day, our young GADIANs turned into little artisans as Rakhi and Card Making activity was conducted in school premises . Girls made illuring rakhi whereas boys made cards for their sisters. Sir Director, Mr. Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa and Ma'am Principal, Mrs. Sakshi Chopra appreciated the efforts put up by the students.
BLUE COLOR DAY CELEBRATION IN KIDS PARADISE
“Kiddies paint their moods in shades of Blue”
The Kids Paradise of Guru Amar Dass Public School celebrated Blue Color Day on 08 August 2019. It was a pleasant and a cool blue day for the tiny tots. The significance of blue color day was reiterated through a series of activities.Excitement and enthusiasm was visible everywhere. All the children came dressed up in different shades and hues of Blue. Nursery students were made to recognize blue color through different games and play-way activities. An array of blue coloured objects like umbrella, ball, cloud, flower, toys etc. was displayed in all the classrooms. Ma’am Principal Mrs. Sakshi Chopra visited all the classes on blue day and they appreciated the kids and the teachers for their efforts.

SHOW AND TELL COMPETITION OF GRADE UKG
To enhance the confidence of the students and give them a chance to present their views in front of all, Inter-Class competition had organized in our Kids Paradise. It is one of the simplest activities that young students can engage in, where the performer faces the rest of the class with a particular item and proceeds to show
it while telling information about it such as where they got it, what is used for and how it works etc. The Show and Tell competition was organized for the students of grade UKG in Kidsparadise. There were eight participants from each section and each child represented a different object like Environment, Electronic Devices, Cleanliness, Fruits, Seasons, Means of Transport etc. Teachers had shown their Enovation in the aids used by the students. Students were covered with the Props related to their topics. They spoke very well about Say No to Plastic, save the water, Save the Earth, Importance of Fruits, Cleanliness, Healthy and Junk Food and Importance of Electronic devices etc.
